ASSOCARBONI: Coal remains the world leader in electricity generation in 2015 with a 40% share (nuclear at 20%, gas at 17%).
World trade down 2.3%, after 10 years of growth at 5% per annum.
In the first half of 2015, India overtook China and established itself as the world’s largest coal importer. Europe is holding back because of the more stringent directives in the United Kingdom. Italy is stable.
