This booklet summarizes the results of a study completed by Nomisma Energia in October 2008 on the potential environmental impact of coal-fired power plants on land and agriculture. Large power plants have existed for over half a century and the problem of their impact on the territory has long been debated, but it has always been about emissions into the atmosphere.
